It is broken. Installs just fine, can run game and check out the menus, but any attempt to launch into a mission result in crash.

I can also confirm that this release is not working.
Do not bother downloading.
It installs fine but crashes upon loading.
Weight for reloaded relese or for the crack. I wood say w8 for Reloaded :)

Its start working with that fix thx. Instal game like always. Copy all from Razor1911 folder from .iso file. Install DirectX from .iso file! Next download crack fix, unpack rar and copy to game folder. Its 100% working game! THX Razor!

Well, dunno what to say, as I'm having major problem with game graphics.

Did:
* instal the game
* copy files from Razor1911 folder to installation folder.
* run that DirectX
* unpacked and copied files from crack fix to installation folder

Outcome:
Unplayable as 80% of screen is black... or dark and stuff.

Oh, and using Windows 7 64bit in pc that's over recommended system requirements.


Guess I have to wait new release...

hey guys need help on this i just finished downloading this but i dont see any rar files to extract, all i see are bunch of rzr-spc2.001 - rzr-spc2.00277 files, i have winrar installed in my computer if its matter....

Im having the same problem. Win7 x64 with a system that is DEFINITELY able to playthis game, and im getting the black screen. Its more like the background is all **** y, and the 3d shapes are tearing into the background and its just all jacked up. Totally unplayable, Ive upgraded my drivers, and I cant figure out what it could possibly be. Ive even tried different versions of the download, and I still get the same problem. Any ideas anyone?

Hey, thanks Vato. I finally updated the drivers manually, and it works now. I definitely like the look of the first one better, but this one has better gameplay, I think. Too bad it seems they are trying to make it look like C&C or something...

Just go2 your C: Program Files (x86)Supreme Commander 2 bin folder and open up steam_appid.txt with notepad... change the number from 41000 (i think...) to 18800.

OR... just download this and copy to the supreme commander 2bin folder (its the fix from pookypsy and elitegamernl)

Also... for the people who love HUGEEE battles I can help with the unit cap of 500.

Just navigate to the C:UsersUSER%NAMEAppDataLocalGas Powered GamesSupreme Commander 2 folder and open the game.prefs with notepad, hit ctrl+f and type in "unitcap" of course w/o ". Then change the value of '500' to '1000' or w/e value u want, I tried 1500 but it doesn't work... so good luck and have fun!!!!

(I cant use slashes on here... have to manually enter those if copy pasting the addresses...)

Just wanted to say I *FINALLY* got it working. I had to turn off ayto updates in Windows 7 and install the newest nVidia driver manually (196.21), which was a bit tricky at first until I figured it out. Anyway, it works great now, except Im using the globe rip, and Im getting a lot of in game crashes. Im on the illuminate levels, and it keeps crashing about 4-5 levels in, so Im going to check out this full version and see if its a bit more stable.

Running up-to-date Win7 64 bit. With the crack fix, everything's working A-Okay. Razor1911 is pretty solid

Update: to patch for multi (Lan AND online) DL http://tinyurl.com/supcom-multipatch and extract into supcom bin folder. you need steam to play multi (free download). I read something about playing supcom in steam as a non steam game, I booted up without doing it. don't know if you'll get the ban hammer with this patch. I'll update after I've pla **** for awhile. I am having trouble getting this to work.

I have installed the game
copied razors files into supreme commander directory
copied the 3 files from crackfix into supreme commander directory
installed mpfix
updated my video card drivers
(running xp)

The game is still crashing upon launching the first campaign mission, it seems this stopped for other users upon applying the crackfix, but it is the same error for me.

Have i put those 3 files in the correct location?

NOD32 anti-virus 4 is detecting it as a virus (virut.nbp virus...)
but i disabled nod32 and then installed it and it asks for sid file ... i point it to the 1st .sid file ...then it again asks for 2nd sid file i point it to the second one and then it complete the installation ...lol....it never asked for 3rd sid file which is present in the DVD ........ SO, the game doesnt work :) .... waste of time .....

maybe its because of my windows , i'm running VISTA NVIDIA EVOLUTION 32 BIT...
