Valimato, do you have windows xp, because it doesn't install on Vista, I downloaded 2 different torrents for it to try to install on Vista, then I tried XP and it worked.

You can just run it on Vista after you copy the installed and cracked version.

i ve mounted the iso file the installation started copied the crack into the borderland directory as told the installation was almost done, the date release check was done but then it asked me to enter the orgainal cd dvd and when i checked the directory the crack was missing and i repasted it again i pressed retry on the orginal cd dvd thing still didnt work i pressed cancel and the installation was canceled, please help

It will work online. I bought the game and on the back of the box it says "Disc-in-drive" (unless u use crack) and then it says "Unlimited Installations". IT DOES WORK QITH WINDOWS 7 X64

Simple enough instructions, however point 4 asks you to replace the original exe with the one from crack folder, there are no borderlands exe files located annywhere other then the binaries dir.
5 Asks you do to prettymuch the same, with an other borderlands.exe.

Tried it as its stated, doesnt work, ill see if theres something else to it in a moment but if some one else reads this and allready has a better instruction, save moi some time thx.

Okay... so there are two exe files... paste the one from the install folder in the binaries folder and paste the one from the crack folder in the boaderlands folder..

Works Great !! After about three install attempts.
Since I was struggling with the install, (maybe the creator's primary language is not english),
I wrote an install procedure that even I can understand, see below:

1. Internet connection required !
2. Burn ISO image to DL disc. ( or mount )
3. Begin installation, (setup.exe on DVD).
4. Important!! During installation (click on "Cancel" during the install to pause the install)
replace the "Borderlands.exe" (in Binaries folder) with the Borderlands.exe from
Razor1911Install folder after the DirectX installation!! (and after "Borderlands.exe" file installation), RESUME INSTALL.
5.Next, Before installation completes !! Pause the install, Copy the "Borderlands.exe" from

Razor1911Crack directory to the .{$InstallDirectory}Gearbox SoftwareBorderlandsdirectory! (Not the Binaries directory!)
6.Allow the install to Finish, ( it should connect to the internet, then you'll see the RAZOR

It seems there is already a torrent about patch: "Borderlands 1.3 update - Pre-cracked", TomZ88 said it worked. But if another update comes there may be problems, we "may" have to wait until that update to be cracked also, because it overwrites some files.

I usually look for the latest gamecopyworld.com's NoDVD fixed exes than download that patch version and use those two together.

Well, for people having problems here is how I did install and pla **** :

1)I have downloaded "patch 1.21" from:

3)I installed game without canceling and pausing installation progress, usual install
4)Just to be sure I reinstalled directx which is provided in iso dvd, in the folder named prerquisites,
5)After installation I backed up borderlands.exe in binaries folder just in case
6)I applied 1.21 patch
7)Again, backed up borderlands.exe in binaries folder to another backup folder (I will need it if gamecopyworld releases 3.0 NoDVD fixed exe)
8)Replaced nodvd fixed exe that I have downloaded with borderlands.exe in binaries folder
9) I did NOT "copy the cracked exe from Razor1911Crack directory
to the .{$InstallDirectory}Gearbox SoftwareBorderlands directory!
(Not the Binaries directory!)"
10)It worked :)

Now I've watched opening intro which was cool :), selected my career, started playing. If any problems occur while playing, I will inform you.

On desktop right click on borderlands icon, on the pop up menu click "properties", it will open up a window and shotcut tab is displa **** , click "find target", it will open explorer and will show you where "borderlands.exe" is, now you are in the binaries folder. Up one level and you are in the directory which you could not find.

I hope this is what you looking for... (And if it is, I suggest you to study windows folder structure a bit, maybe starting from dos may be a good idea :/

Why i can't download borderlands.I has 100% but borderlands downloading again

My installation keeps saying 'error 1712' when it gets to the end and tries to start. I understand that this is something to do with my system registry, and I have found a program to fix this, its called 'Regcure', but I would have to pay for this software. Are there any more software you guys would recommend or perhaps a cracked Regcure?? Any help would be appreciated:)

You can do what i did: when the error message shows up rename the "Gearbox Software" folder. So when the installation try to delete the files They won't delete. The game run normaly after i did that but i don't kown if doing this will provide some error messages during the gameplay as when i made this post i still don't begin to play the game. After more game play i will post my results

I downloaded it and checked the game out... its nice so i bought it and uninstalled this one.
Now when i try to instal it i have : play borderlands or uninstal???
i click uninstal and it says error 1721...

Nvm i solved it...
for those who dont know how to just download your pro uninstaller and use it to delete registry files that are left

Worked for me too. First had also problem that it would just crash and rollback installation at end, even with following all the steps by replacing ect. But it worked the 3rd time i tried, so just try 3-5 times and it will work at some point. Anyways game is awesome, not buggy and works just perfectly on high settings. I'm using Win7. Greetz

Works for me. When asked me to insert the original CD, I just shut off the computer, then I've instaled the crack, and works.
