It says to me too: "Please insert Disk AdobeMastersCollection5-trial-English to continiue."
So i guess it isnt the right version!

This should not be an ISO file because it's not an image of a CD. It should be a .zip or .rar archive.

If you burn the ISO or mount it to a virtual drive the installer fails (asks you to insert Adobe CS5 disk).

Instead, extract the contents of the ISO file to a hard drive.

Uninstall previous versions of Adobe products.

Run keygen.exe.

Patch Hosts file.

Select program to register: Adobe MASTER COLLECTION CS5

Copy serial and paste into Adobe installer.

Select language and programs to install, go. Works great for me, thx for the up - but next time don't make it an ISO file if it's not a CD image ;]

Oh, and where's Adobe Acrobat??

The Read Me says that Acrobat 9 Pro isn't included as they didn't make a new version, but its meant to include a serial number.

I'm guessing that if we already have Acrobat installed from CS4, we just don't uninstall that single component - otherwise we download and install it separately.

I'm getting "error code 7" on installation. I've done what nothingleft said. Installs the first files fine. Then it just errors-out and kills the installation. Any suggestions? Windows 7 x64, Core 2 Quad, 6GB DDR, Nvidia 9200,

I followed nothingleft's instructions to the letter. Here's my problem: the activation screen accepts the serial # (it has a check mark to the side saying its valid) yet after I close the app, and then reopen, it states the serial # is not valid for this product. Says I need to provide a new serial #. I do that, and have done it dozens of times, and I still have the same problem. Always running the keygen to get a new serial #, which it accepts. Is there a certain place I need to put the keygen? A specific folder? Any ideas out there on what I'm doing wrong? The product works, however, I'm afraid it's just going to remain in trial version, and then will no longer have access. Let me know what you guys think out there....thanks in advance.

Update: Ok, after alot of research online, I finally found a note that was excluded from the original KeyGen notes. For some reason, the patch in the KeyGen did NOT work for me. However, if anyone else encounters the same problem I did above, these notes totally resolved the issue by patching the host file manually:

For anyone who does not know how to change he "Host" file in Vista, here's the notes for that!

Changing your hosts file in Vista
By default, if you try to modify your hosts file in Vista, it will not let you save it. It tells you that you don't have permission. To successfully modify the hosts file, run notepad.exe as an administrator and open the file.

1) Browse to Start -> All Programs -> Accessories
2) Right click "Notepad" and select "Run as administrator"
3) Click "Continue" on the UAC prompt
4) Click File -> Open
5) Browse to "C:WindowsSystem32Driversetc"
6) Change the file filter drop down box from "Text Do **** ents (*.txt)" to "All Files (*.*)"
7) Select "hosts" and click "Open"
8) Make the needed changes and close Notepad. Save when prompted.

Guys i have a problem when it comes to the install option it says "please insert adobe master collection5-trial-english to continue."

I was able to download it but it won't let me open it...only to burn it to a disc. I did, and I was able to install CS5 but I needed a serial#. Within the the disc I made, there was a nexgen Zip file...i opened it using WinZip but I am not sure how to use it. I was not able to retrieve any serial #s....I tried clicking the trial version but it says, "please insert adobe master collection5-trial-english to continue."...I am STUCK...please help!...TY

@killercracker Copy the files in the iso to your hard drive and start set-up from there. It won't ask for a CD anymore.

I'm having trouble installing it.
It goes well with the keygen and I've patched the host.
But when its about to install, without even getting to 1% it get millions of errors.
I use Windows 7. Does anyone have the same problem?

Having trouble with the keygen.

I follow all the instructions, I even go so far as to turn off AVG and the like. I click the keygen and it tells me I do not have permission to run the program. It says:

"Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

Wouldn't mind so much as I am the Admin of the computer itself, and everything I've tried, hasn't worked, including burning the keygen to a cd and loading it to another computer.

Running Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit OS.

I'm puzzled by the keygen. It provides keys for all sorts of Adobe applications but not for CS5 as far as I can see. What am I missing?

I looked into the virus issue. I ran keygen.exe and then checked my system with HijackThis and SpyBot - Search and Destroy, neither of which reported any problems. The keygen folder does contain a file called core10k.exe which is the name of a file that has caused problems. (I didn't run it of course.) I deleted it from the keygen folder, rebooted and it hadn't magically appeared, so as far as I can tell there are no problems with the keygen - except that it doesn't actually generate a key for CS5 :-)

For anyone who is getting rid of the "seriel not valid".
Fallow these steps on either 7 or vista.

Ive just tried to use the program and it HAS worked, BUT it keeps telling me the serial number is invalid. Ive followed mci2727's post numerous times but it still hasnt worked...

help me out?

@45HYX in the keygen, make sure u select the Adobe Master Collection CS5 ad not CS4.

Hey Guys. Thanks a lot for the great tips on downloading Creative Suite. What I did was the following:
1. Download the torrent
2. This resulted in an .iso file that could be opened with WinZip, etc. So I just created a folder on my desktop and extracted all of the files in the .iso file to this folder on my desktop. It is very simple with WinZip. Just select all the files, right click, extract, and choose destination (folder in desktop)
3. Now this gave me "Adobe CS5" folder, Creative Suite Manual, and a Keygen .iso file. I opened the Keygen.iso file on WinZip and I extracted all of the files to another folder within the folder I created on my desktop that I named "Keygen." ******BE SURE TO TURN OFF INTERNET SPYWARE BECAUSE IT WILL DELETE THE KEYGEN APPLICATION WHILE EXTRACTING*******
4. After extracting all of the files in the Keygen.iso, I ran the Setup for Creative Suite in the "Adobe CS5" folder.
5. When it asked me for the serial #, I ran the Keygen in my "Keygen" folder. The file is called "CORE10k".
6. I then ran the "CORE10k" application and clicked start.
7. The keygen pops up and I clicked patch.
8. It Patched the files and I just copied the serials to the Creative Suite Setup.
9. then I just ran the setup and skipped the registration.

Easy but be sure to do what mci2727 said about changing the host files.

Oh yeah... there were also a couple of minor errors with the installation that didn't really affect what I'm using. BTW.

I need help with this. I extracted the file and changed the host file but i can't run the setup.exe file. It says that the file cannot be found. PLEASE HELP
